time, etc. for that many...

I tossed out my wire jar rack after about 2 uses and started using the platform from my pressure canner. Later I ordered a couple extras. The platform, along
with a standard jar lifter is far more efficient than using the wire rack and getting a face full of steam while trying to lift all the jars out of the water
at once.

If you order the canner platforms, just make sure the diameter is correct for your water bath pot.

Thanks McNerd!
My problem is none of my cake/cookie cooling racks fit in my pot. In fact, I just bought a water bath pot and I wanted to make some jam in the 8 ounce jelly
jars and they fall through the rack that came with my pot. I just ordered the stainless steel rack from this site that doesn't have dividers so I can use
my jelly jars. I tried to do a "make-shift" rack, but nothing will work **sigh** I guess I'll have to eat the cherries I bought and buy some...

Yes you can stack the jars as long as there is sufficient height in the canner, either in a Boiling Water Canner or a Pressure Canner. The Boiling Water Canner
still must have 1"-2" of water over the jars and an additional 3"-5" so the water does not boil over. If you don't have an extra
pressure canner platform (use can order them online) you can use a cake/cookie wire cooling rack. The purpose of either is to provide a space between the jars
so that water can...
