I made blackberry preserves today and had my lids in the hot water per the directions. I didn't have enough fruit to fill all of my jars with one batch so
I'm making another. My question is - I had my lids in the hot water when I made the first batch but since I didn't use them I removed them from the
water and they cooled off so can I still use them for the second batch if I put them back in the hot water?

Yes, no problem. All you are doing is softening the sealing rubber so that you achieve a good seal.
